I’ve been using Avira for a while now, and overall I’d say it’s a good deal for the money. It’s cheap, simple to use, and mostly just runs in the background without bothering me, which I like. At the same time, I sometimes feel like it’s almost too basic, but then again that’s also kind of what makes it easy to deal with. So yeah, I have a few mixed feelings, but for what I paid, I’m happy enough with it.

I was downloading something and this caught the malware right away when other programs totally missed it. Relieved honestly.

From what I remember using it day to day, avira doesn’t really slow my laptop down much. The only time I’ve noticed any lag is during a full scan, and even then it’s not a huge deal. Overall, it’s been good enough for me.

Installing it was simple, but I got a little confused once I started going through the settings. It worked out in the end, it just took me a minute to figure out what everything meant.

I had a little confusion about my renewal price at first, but support got it sorted out quick. The subscription page could definetly be a bit clearer, but it wasn’t a big issue overall

At first I was a little hesitant about how private it would actually feel, but after using it, I felt way more comfortable. It gives me a sense of safety and privacy that’s reassuring. I still had that tiny bit of doubt in the back of my mind, but overall, it feels good and more secure than I expected.

I’ve been using Avira for a little while now, and overall I’d say it’s been easy to deal with. Getting it set up didn’t take much time at all, which I appreciated because I’m not really looking to spend ages figuring out antivirus software. Most of the main features are where you’d expect them to be, so clicking around and finding what I need has been fairly simple. The only thing that gets a little irritating now and then is the pop-ups, since they can show up at moments when I’m not really in the mood for them, but they haven’t been bad enough to make me stop using it. In general, it does what I need, doesn’t feel overly complicated, and has been a decent experience for me.

Avira itself works okay for me, no big issues there, but the support was really slow, slow enough to be annoying. I had to wait days just to get a simple answer, which made the whole experience frustrating...
